Here we have the last of the six albums presenting a musical picture of the evolving English Morris Dance tradition, and what an album to finish off with!Ashley Hutchings and Simon Care, who are the producers for the album have cast the net far and wide to invite some of the finest exponents of the music to contribute tracks. From the young to the old they came and with that creativity, excitement, entertainment and outstanding musicianship encompass the album.Artists appearing include the best of the best with Eliza Carthy, Show of Hands, John Kirkpatrik, Jim Causley, Jim Moray Chris Leslie and Ric Sanders (Fairport Convention), Ken Nicol (Steeleye Span) and many more.

William Kimber (1872-1961) was the best-known English traditional musician of the twentieth century. He appeared at major concert halls in London, broadcast on television and radio, recorded for HMV records and was revered as the 'Father of the Morris.'
